Meters

My meter is displaying one-bar battery icon. Is the batter already low?

Yout meter is just displaying hte normal image of the batter icon. If it's already low, the battery icon will appear empty and blinks continuously until it will no longer turn on. (Meter Battery: CR2032, 3V)

How to turn on meter?

To turn on meter, you just need to insert a test strip without blood.

How to apply blood?

Get a new test strip (without blood), insert strip on the meter. When meter is ready (blood symbol appears) put blood at the tip of the strip (NOT on top of the strip) until confirmation window is full.

My meter keeps on saying "Error 2 and Error 5". What does it mean?

Error messages are usually procedural errors. Kindly review your procedure by following instructions indicated on the owner's guidebook. If unresolved, contact ONETOUCH® Customer Care.  

Why is it that I get 2 different readings from testing twice in 2 minutes?

Blood glucose changes can be very rapid especially if you have recently eaten, exercised, taken medication, or experienced stress.
